Knowing you can get roadside assistance throughout the US and Canada if your vehicle breaks down or you are involved in an accident. AAA maintains a list of Approved Auto Repair and Approved Auto Body facilities where AAA members receive special member benefits and the facilities are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence; look for the Approved Auto Body or Approved Auto Repair signs. By the roadside AAA members can get assistance with battery checks or replacements, towing if necessary, flat tire changes if you have a spare, lock out services and other minor help. The people that come to your aid are AAA employees or contracted garages that have gone through rigorous certifications to ensure our members get the best service.
